Het blijft sindsdien onrustig in een regio. Voor de Koerden in een overige landen blijft autonomie voorlopig iets het ver straat kan zijn. Onafhankelijk van elkaar bestaan een Koerdische landstreek’s te zwak om zelfstandig te zijn en een overheersende landen Iran, Irak, Turkije en Syrië laten die strategische regio’s ook niet ineens gaan.
